Kendall 360 Misting Fans

I’ve received some questions about the Kendall 360Mist Fans. There is a of details on the web. Basically the fan pushes 2400CFM , there is a deflector plate under the fan that causes the air flow to discharge around the fan, rather then straight down. Using high pressure stainless steel tubing @1100 PSI clean filtered water is driven via a pump system through anti drip high pressure nozzles.

The air flow with the high pressure mist creates a flash atomization that competes with ambient temp using “energy” to drop the temperature. The goal at a restaurant location is not to get people wet it’s about dropping the temperature 25 -30degrees. That’s the simple of it , nozzle size, spacing, pressure, fan height …… These are all factors

Quality Misting Systems / Mist Line

BEWARE of the Guy in the “Red truck”

Customer calls and states they were sold a system that is ” top quality”, now have dripping system , with a black line that droops and is sagging.

They also mentioned the overall sound of the system, which is loud and sounds like a knocking , along with being very hot to the touch.

Unfortunately, guys jump into the industry looking for quick money and high profits from homeowners in DFW that don’t know about systems and can’t ask the right questions. Cheap equipment stinks!!!!

We never use push connect fittings and black poly pipe. This is overseas junk peddled by rookie “misting” guys.

Our line is stainless steel and powder coated to match your environment. We calculate your pump to the selected motor equal to nozzle demand, placing your system in a very tight operating ratio to your pumps displacement.

We sell fractional GPM NanoTecH2O systems and design systems to displace the perfect gallon per minute, allowing systems to flash atomize and keep the pump running at an optimal level without massive head pressure or underperformance.

Unfortunately for this customer, the guy that installed the system did not have the basic knowledge of misting systems and was looking for a quick buck at the home owners expense.

Check us out online , see our 20 year history of misting systems, and special effects environmental misting. We designed and hold a patent on the Kendall 360 misting fan, have nozzles specifically built to our specification, only use high grade component pumps, motors and controllers…… all designed by us, to be used in our exclusive Texas design and built NanoTecH2O systems.

Don’t be fooled by the “not cool” guy in his red truck pushing his slick sales promises. The guy that has no plumbing experience , electrical experience , hydraulic background understanding of filtration/ water chemistry. This is the fella that drills holes in your home to run lines hits electrical going to heaters and patio lighting and has no plan for extending dedicated water to your misting system.

We work out all the details for our customers and have all the right skills , so you get top notch high pressure misting system to cool your environment.

Residential or commercial NanoTeH2O , the guys in the white truck proudly displaying our information and logos!!!!

Hey if department of defense trust us to cool their A10 ammo hold and loading area at Nellis AFB or Republic Disposal to mitigate dust and cool employees working in their recycling area , Texas Rangers new ball park, Cosmopolitan Hotel, Caesar’s , Magic Mountain ……… we guarantee you will get a well designed system with quality parts and 20+ years of experience!

Selecting The Best Misting System

Not all misting system are the same. Misting systems are affected by every part of the overall design of each system.

Important is a design appropriate to each specific environment, which includes the misting pump, water treatment controls, the distribution lines and misting nozzles. These key items are thoughtfully combined to bring a uniques system, specific to your goal and leaves you with a system that does the job that’s right for venue.

When starting to design a NanotecH2O misting system, it’s important to keep in mind how each one of these individual section affects the other.

Important to detail that one of the most important components in this process is the selected misting pump used to fuel the atomizing process.

When considering which NanoTecH2O high-pressure misting system pump is the right system associated to the size of the area(s), type of misting effect and the time in use, all these factors should be considered before selecting a system.

Here at NanoTech, we specialize in designing and manufacturing misting systems that are customized to your specific environment. With more than 20 proven years of experience in high-pressure misting systems, NanoTecH2O Systems guarantees to provide you with a system design, that is both effective and consistent.

NanoTecH2O ClearUV

UV sterilizer for misting system
NanoTecH2O Clear UV

Viruses no match for NanoTecH2O ClearUV ™
The NanoTecH2O ClearUV Ultraviolet C sub-type system is especially effective at targeting and destroying microorganisms such as protozoa bacteria and disease causing viruses such as influenza, legionella pneumophila, salmonella, e-coli and hepatitis A. And since there are no known microorganisms that have developed a resistance to UVC radiation, ultraviolet sterilizers are ideal for purifying water systems from germs and other microbes.

For that reason NanoTech & NanoTecH2O equipment deploys ClearUV™
UV sterilizers with our high pressure misting systems for public areas.
Ultraviolet sterilizers in water purification systems work by subjecting a water supply fed force to Ultraviolet C. The ultraviolet light is generated by an enclosed lamp within the filtration system. Incoming water passes through an enclosure chamber that is fitted close to the lamp.
When microorganisms are exposed to the light emitted by ultraviolet sterilizers, their DNA structure will become altered to the point of leaving the microorganisms sterile. This means that these microorganisms, after being rendered sterile, will have zero effect even if ingested.
UV sterilizers won’t solve all filtration needs
While ultraviolet sterilizers are extremely effective against biological pathogens, they are ineffective against inorganic matter, chemicals and compounds. This means that ultraviolet sterilizers, while suitable for solving water purification needs, won’t address water filtration needs.

About Misting Systems

NanoTech Misting Systems's avatarNanoTecH2O

Misting systems are most commonly defined as a series of specially mist nozzles placed in a line around the perimeter of an area. When connected to a high pressure misting system pump, water is forced through the specialty nozzles and quickly atomized to droplets as small as 5 millionths of a meter (5 micron)

The only time a misting fan will make an environment unpleasant and humid is if the nozzles are not in working order. Otherwise, misting fans work best in areas where there is humidity. Since it is a cooling device, it is meant to be used in warm climates.

The cooling power of Mist Systems is based on the process of atomizing water droplets to a size that can quickly evaporate. Water is forced through a specially designed high pressure nozzle to create an ultra fine fog that rapidly absorbs heat and cools surrounding air as it…

NanoTech Misting Ducts Go MLB – Texas Rangers

Year 2010 – Location, Encore Beach Club – The Mission, Misting Ducts

The 68 Million dollar Encore Beach Club in the front of Encore Casino, located on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip is under construction and looking for a unique misting system application for the Cabanas that surround its new Day Club pool.

The process was kicked into action to design and fabricate a duct system that would provide misting in the cabanas without getting moisture on the elegant fabrics, glass work, electronics and over all bling in each cabana.

Unlike other day clubs and cabanas in Las Vegas, these cabanas were an enclosed structure on 3 sides and did not have the space for a typical wall mounted fans or mist line application …..the Kendall 360 had not yet come to production.

Putting our heads together the idea came to design an air assisted duct with a single mist nozzle in the middle. The duct would be powered by a small 110v high CFM fan along with high pressured mist.

Driven by a variable frequency pump system and high pressure solenoid the cabana guest could turn on the fan/mist system for fresh clean filtered mist at the flip of a switch.

Fabrication began and through shop testing and several different mock ups a single duct was decided on and production started. The crunch was on, as the day club was scheduled to open in May……… and we delivered!

The duct with its left /right flanges was easy to secure to metal framing and consistent in allowing the proper thickness for drywall. Stainless Steel high pressure feed lines were plumbed back to the solenoid, with the solenoid being actuated by a simple 110v wall switch.

A one of a kind misting system for a high end Las Vegas Resort.

We cant give away all the details……YET, but keep an eye out for what is happening right here in Texas with the new Globe LIfe Texas Rangers Stadium sky boxes and Club house!!

We will keep everyone updated with the new misting duct system pictures as the project progresses and fabrication steams ahead.

For now, it is back to the shop for us, we have a lot of fabrication and welding ahead of us!

Fog Effects and Fog Fountains

Fog Effects and Fog Fountains are a great way to add interest to any landscape or water feature. At NanoTech, we have assisted many designers in the process of designing unique one of a kind focal points that accent and cool down public spaces or residential landscaping.

In Texas, we sure do get some blazing hot summers which drives most people indoors. Having a pool or water feature actual helps drop the ambient temperature in the surrounding area; Additionally, with proper landscaping placed, creating shade, adding a fogging or misting system to your surrounding area misting will actually drop the temperature 20, 25 or even 30 degrees.

Everyone has been out at one time or another walking through a neighborhood in the summer and felt the change of temperature as they walk through an area that has a larger body of water or the irrigation is running and felt that drop in temperature.

The same happens with a well placed fogging or misting system. By designing a system for surrounding landscaping or incorporating into their pool water features a special fogging system by NanoTech will have a cooling effect on the surrounding area , making your outdoor living space much more comfortable.

Nanotech fabricates many different applications for delivering a cool, heat busting mist. We are an OEM that creates wall, fountain and bowl scuppers that not only add visual excitement to a pools overall look, it adds high pressure misting and fogging that drops the temperature.

With proper lighting and placement the misting and fog systems they also become a dramatic feature at night !!!!

From stainless steel architectural sculptures , GFRC rock panels, fountains, under pool coping, in landscaping and trees, perfectly designed misting fans. Cool mist shooting up from concrete, ponds and from any overhead structure…Nanotech OEM Misting and Fog systems has a great solution for any design or application.

High Pressure Misting System vs Low & Medium Pressure Misting

If you’re looking for a quick and low cost solution in Misting Systems and are willing to compromise on the quality of mist and residual moisture; then a low pressure misting system could be good choice.

However, if you want a high quality misting system, even if it costs you a few extra bucks; then we say consider investing in high pressure misting system designed and built by NanoTech.

At NanoTech , we do not sell , recommend or install “low” and “medium” pressure misting system. We believe through 20 years experience, even in an arid environment, these low pressure and medium pressure systems are for the company’s trying to make a quick buck by moving product to the consumer, with no really due diligence and consideration for the customer.

We hear from customer all the time in Texas, unfortunately, that made a mistake with being talked into these types of systems.  Slick sales people or band wagoners jumping on with no formal education or training through hands on experience in high pressure misting systems or pressurized hydraulic applications

Here in our great state of Texas with higher humidity it is very important to get the water tension to split water modules for flash atomization.

Scientifically, it is an improbability to use a low/medium pressure system to achieve the effects of high pressure ambient cooling. The crowd that are just trying to make the quick buck and “Love Our Customer”, have more of a passion for their bank accounts then love of customers and equipment knowledge and design.

However, if you tend to appreciate wet tables, slick floors, dripping hair and clothing, water on your soggy food ….yuck!!!!

1. Quality of Mist.

Unlike low pressure systems that run directly on city water pressure between 40 and 60psi, NanoTech high-pressure misting system uses a 1000 to 1500psi pump manufactured here in Texas, to increase the water flow and pressure in the system. Our systems use only 316L stainless steel high pressure rated tubing that we manufacture and weld in house with our TIG welding process ( never push connect and ploy pipe) Complemented with Aircraft grade Stainless Steel fittings and our proprietary designed 8 piece stainless steel ultra-fine impingement / anti drip nozzles, working collectively displacing ultra fine 1-5 micro water droplets……smaller then a single bacteria molecule

2. Flash-CoolingWith the droplets atomized in a super-fine state, the water droplets compete with the sun’s heat quickly burning solar energy out of the atmosphere, causing a drop in ambient temperature or a “caloric burn”. After this burn off of water in the surrounding Aries the hot air rises and the cool air sinks. The droplets, when absorbed, are also vaporized; thus creating a large bubble of cool air……That is the NanoTech difference ……..

3. No Residual MoistureWith Low and Medium pressure systems in Texas you will experience some residual moisture as the power at which the droplets are sprayed is not high enough to break water tension and the size of the droplets resulting are not as fine as high pressure misting systems. Ultimately, this increases the chances of having a wet floor and surroundings. You definitely don’t want that when you have your guests around. And for this reason, investing in a high pressure mist system makes sense. A high pressure system produces mist with no residual moisture, thus keeping your surroundings, tables and floor dry. Have we mentioned our Kendall 360 Mist fans ?
