The new 7 piece all stainless steel .006 to .018 is here.
On a hot and sunny day, the moisture content in the atmosphere remains virtually constant; this means that the relative humidity is always lowest at the day’s highest temperature. The lower the relative humidity, the better the evaporative cooling effect is. In other words, the cooling effect is best when you need it most.
The evaporation of 1kg of water provides the same cooing effect as the melting of 7kg of ice. This is Mother Nature’s way of cooling air. Natural Fog nozzles efficiently convert ordinary water into billions of micron-sized water droplets.
When operated at 1000 PSI or higher pressure, H2O nozzles by NanoTech generate 10~15 micron water droplets which flash-evaporate when floating through the air, since rapid evaporation takes place and residence time (time required to evaporate water droplets in the air) is kept to a minimum; H2O nozzle are fully capable of achieving total evaporative cooling potential even in climates with high relative humidity.
All nozzles were tested at 1,000 PSI using water at 70°F (21.1°C).
The room humidity was between 40 and 50 % during the tests.
The pattern measurements were conducted using the SETscan OP600 patternator that can measure sprays up to a maximum diameter of 7 inches.
With the introduction of high pressure misting systems, the free thinking innovative landscaper can use this new technology not only to cool the great outdoors, but also as a tool to create wonderful aesthetically pleasing areas in and around the landscape.
The following areas have great potential in creating the look where talking about.
• Misting placed high in trees for a fogging effect emanating from the tree. To accomplish this look, a tree of medium height say around 35 feet can have 5 to 10 mist nozzles placed into its canopy creating a magical fog. With addition of low voltage lighting and a timer the effect could be very dramatic and quite the crowd pleaser at parties and other functions.
• Low mounted mist nozzles on lit pathways winding through the landscape or down a landscaped corridor into a courtyard is a stunning look that is sure to please any homeowner. These should be spaced out about every 10 feet for dramatic effect.
• Addition of mist or fog around any water feature or fountain is always a winner and it only takes a few strategically placed nozzles to get great results. If you are having a swimming pool installed insist that the pool contractor install mist fog at the water level and on waterfalls. The effect is so great everyone will be talking about it and I am quite sure your neighbors don’t have it, but they will.
• Misting is also beneficial to plants like Ferns, Hostas and most Tropical Plants. Adding mist in and around any plant material will enhance the look of the landscape.
• Play ground equipment, trampolines and other play structures can have mist
• cooling adapted to them as well making these areas more fun and more comfortable during the hot summer months.
So as you can see there are many applications for this new and exciting thing we call mist. Put on your designing scarf, think outside of the box and see what mist can do for you.
With this design of nozzle, the fluid is ejected from the nozzle orifice and impacts upon a pin in the direct path of the water flow. This breaks up and disrupts the flow into a fine spray cone. As the fluid is being broken up by impact, different from being forced through a very small orifice, this allows for a larger orifice than other misting nozzle designs, thus allowing for more viscous water to be sprayed into a mist pattern. This is especially effective in special effects, water parks, Landscaping applications.
One potential downside of this design is the propensity for dripping to occur under the impingement hoop.
This design of nozzle is ideal for producing very fine droplets and produces the finest droplets of any direct pressure nozzle For finer droplets pressurized air needs to be used to atomise the fluid.
NanoTecH2O produce two ranges of misting impingement nozzle. The standard N series and the low profile NT series for use where space is confined.

In fact, some “misting systems” don’t use high pressure at all. We’ve all seen those low cost “patio misting systems” at the big box hardware stores. Hook them up to the hose, hang the lines and everything is cool and nice, right? Well….those so-called patio misting systems aren’t much more than mini-sprinklers. Everything gets wet while your space is only 10 degrees cooler.
High pressure misting systems cool by cooling the space…not by getting everyone wet. By using high pressure (at least 1000psi), water is forced through tiny nozzles, producing a micro-fine mist. When the mist evaporates into the air, it actually “uses” heat in the process. With millions of tiny droplets evaporating into the air, and each one taking a small bit of heat with it, HUGE cooling occurs instantly. You can expect our patio misting systems to bring up to 35 degrees of cooling, thanks to the best mist cooling technology in the business–and the natural process of evaporative cooling.
What is “Flash Cooling?”
For true cooling power and for staying dry we need to create a fine enough mist that will evaporate in the air. When the water evaporates, you get much greater cooling, and NOTHING GETS WET! The results can be amazing. Flash cooling is the wonderful result of the evaporation of water in the air. The dynamic process of evaporation actually uses heat from the air. The water is gone, taking a little heat with every tiny droplet. Multiply that by thousands and thousands of droplets evaporating into the air and you can really achieve some serious cooling with high-pressure misting.

A triplex pump is a type of positive displacement pump used in a number of high-pressure applications. Positive displacement pumps work on the principle of gradually reducing the volume of the working fluid and forcing it into a discharge opening, thereby increasing pressure, which results in providing a flow. This pump is a reciprocating pump that uses three plungers or pistons to pump the working fluid, hence the name triplex pump. Pistons are typically used in triplex pumps that are suitable for systems with working pressure of up to 1000 psi, whereas plungers are generally used when the working pressure exceed 1000 psi.
The construction of these triplex pumps is similar to that of a three-cylinder internal combustion engine, with three plungers, or pistons, in three corresponding cylinders. The pumping action is facilitated by the reciprocating nature of the single acting plungers in the cylinders, which work by taking suction of the working fluid on the downwards stroke, while pressurizing as well as discharging on the upstroke.
A single prime mover drives the three plungers, and in many cases, the prime mover is an electric motor. Some other common prime movers used to drive a triplex pump are hydraulic motors and diesel engines. The reciprocating movement of the pistons is achieved through a camshaft. The prime mover drives the camshaft, which in turn causes the three plungers to reciprocate in a specific order so that one plunger discharges for every 120 degrees rotation of the prime mover. Unlike a simplex, single plunger pump that produces an intermittent discharge, the triplex pump provides a smoother flow. In addition, the average flow rate of a triplex pump is significantly higher than that of a simplex or a duplex pump. The volume and pressure achieved by the pump is directly proportional to the prime mover RPM, such that an increase in prime mover RPM causes an increase in the pressure and volume output of the pump.
This type of pump is ideal for applications in NanoTeH2O pump series, that require high pressure application to the nozzle. While the pump itself does not create the high pressure it is the nozzle that restricts and balances the flow, giving up a high pressure misting systems.

Recreating natural fog formations is in high demand for landscape artists, architects, theme park ride and exhibit designers, special effects professionals and a sprinkling of other professions. Fog effects are like the last highlight on a painting, without them you may not have noticed any significant difference in aesthetic beauty. However, once you decide to integrate fog effects into your production or environment, a life without them seems dreary and at a loss for color.
Fog may seem like an easy act of recreation. It isn’t. Fog is, by nature, extremely uncontrollable. Regulating the size, area and formation of the particles is determined by many factors, including wind, the angle of the sun and physical obstructions within its path. Determining the particle size, cloud type, integration design, and fog manifold angle are the design factors that NanoTech specializes in.
It is establishing the art of authenticity that drives our design efforts. NanoTech high-pressure fog pumps use only pure water so we can successfully mimic the same collection patterns found in natural fog formations while surrounding you with breathable, fresh air. As the water source supplies the pump, it is driven through our stainless steel fog manifolds that are configured and positioned based on the design of the installation. These can determine the visual outcome as well as affect the range of fog patterns possible.
Within the manifold, the water is then moved at high-pressure through the fog nozzles. Each fog nozzle is chosen based on the aesthetic desires of the client, the natural progression of possible obstructions, the climatic conditions and the amount of average air circulation that may occur. Each of NanoTech’s
Special Effects Misting
fog nozzles emit water particles small enough that will collect and create fog that is realistic and captivating.
The aesthetic ends of fog are infinite. Fog can create an atmosphere of glamour, enhance existing water formations, highlight fountain structures or add that layer of intensification you need. But probably most important, fog is used in almost any application to create an “atmosphere” or an ambiance. Establishing the backdrop of your presentation, the intensity of the production or simply highlight a landscape or architectural construction can be well communicated by adding professionally and precisely created pure water, high-pressure driven fog acting just like what it is: fog.

High Pressure Misting (Fogging) is a very effective & efficient way to cool down large areas even in high humidity climates. In fact, many of the more humid states such as Texas, Florida & other South Eastern States with a very high average humidity, are among our largest growing states with mist equipment sales more then doubling since 2006.
This is in a large part because people are finally being educated to the fact that high pressure mist systems can cool down any area in any climate as long as they are installed properly. With the use of the correct size mist nozzles, nozzle & mist line placement, pump size and the correct use of misting fans we can cool down almost any area as much as 25 degrees with out getting anyone wet. This is because we have the capability of producing such a fine mist droplet that it evaporates almost immediately even in the most humid conditions.

Scent Marketing is more than just diffusing a pleasant fragrance in a space. It is the art of taking a company’s brand identity, marketing messages, target audience and creating a scent that amplifies these values.
A scent has the ability to influence behavior and trigger memories almost instantaneously. When smell is combined with other marketing cues, it can amplify a brand experience and establish a long lasting connection with consumers.
Our sense of smell is believed to affect 75% of our daily emotions. The close connection between the olfactory gland, which registers smell, and the limbic system, that governs emotion and memories, is the power behind our sense of smell.
Scent receptors in the nose connect directly to the section of the brain that is responsible for memory and emotion. This is why a smell has the ability to transport you to a certain time and place, linking back to a particular memory or feeling.
Humans are able to recognize approximately 10,000 different odors, and what’s more remarkable, we are able recall smells with 65% accuracy after a year, in contrast to only 50% of visuals after three months.
The results are happy customers that remember your brand and linger longer. Academic and industry research reveal that incorporating scent has a profound impact on how consumers regard a brand. The right ambient scenting solution can subtly prompt consumers to spend more time in a business individual environments and can be an effective means of drawing people into your venue.
Diffusing the right aroma can reinforce your brand identity, create the perfect ambiance for your clients, employees and guests, and differentiate your business from your competitors.
NanoTech SVIS T67 uses a patented venture system to inject scent into you misting system. Not only will your customers stay cool and enjoy the environment longer, they will associate a specific scent to your environment.
